A Philosophy Statment on Employment

Once I graduate with my Bachelor’s in Psychology I hope to take my first step in becoming an advocate for those who need help.   I believe that my interpersonal skills, along with the education I received will help me do this.   My work ethic will also be an asset in my new career.   I believe in punctuality, hard work and always try to help my co-workers out.  I do not mind hard work and will take on extra work to help others.   My future employer will benefit by hiring me because I am an empathetic person that is always ready to listen and help out the clients .   I will improve my position by continuing my education and getting my masters in therapy.    

I have been in school for a few years now. I know I have always wanted to help people. I started out wanting to be a nurse but decided it was not the job for me. I have now refocused my career goals to helping others in the social services field. Once I graduate I would like to further my education to get my masters in therapy, so I can be a therapist. When I graduate with my Bachelor's I would like to get a job in a setting that can help me begin my new career in a therapeutic setting.
